PROJECTS
At Kinetic Environmental we have years of experience delivering projects for clients across a range of Industries
POULTRY INDUSTRY
Kinetic Environmental through its Director Christian McDean has been involved with the poultry industry for over 20 years.
Christian's experience began as a Council officer at Matamata Piako District Council in the early 2000's processing broiler farm expansions or green field sites. He then moved into consulting, working directly for broiler farm operators contracted to Inghams, Brinks and Tegel.
Over the past 5 years Christian has also begun working with the poultry egg laying industry, in expanding existing sites, converting to barn and free range systems, as well as greenfield free range operations for New Zealand's largest egg laying business, Better Eggs and Mainland Poultry.
Christian manages this process right from the initial idea, through to the issue of resource consent, including management of specialists, consultation/engagement with neighbours and interest groups and representing clients at hearings and environment court should they be necessary. Christian is well versed in broiler and layer operations and has assisted the industry in policy making through the District Plan process, as well as assisting growers in meeting their obligations with regard to development contributions.
